Within a densely developed residential community a large pharmaceutical development company that cares immensely about its staff well-being, demonstrated admirably by their stylish offices & work stations, upgraded high quality welfare areas and open, well lit communal areas along with well planned activities to develop job satisfaction.

Against this backdrop, there was an existing footpath from the main carpark, running through a well-established wooded area that had been overgrown and neglected for some time, falling into disrepair and had been closed off due to safety concerns.

Utilising suitably small plant working from one end only, the footpath was excavated, reshaped and reconstructed with timber edgings and stoned. Single way ducting and lighting was installed and a tightly bound, decorative gravel surface was installed, lifting the whole ambience of the area during day and night hours.

The footway has now created a pleasing woodland walk, enabling the workforce to walk the shortest route safely to and from the works carpark whilst enjoying a rare snapshot of flora & fauna, serenaded by birdsong. What a fabulous way to start and end your working day!
